Hair: 16 Month Post Relaxer

Happy New Year! I hope everyone has a happy 2012.  I am still going strong in my natural hair transition.  Honestly, majority of my hair is natural so I don't really feel like I am transitioning like I used to.  I feel more like a natural.  The relaxed hair is just on the tips.  However, I like the length of my hair when I flat iron it so I probably will not be clipping my relaxed ends just yet.  Maybe I will later on this year.  We will just have to see what 2012 will bring.

As usual, here are pictures of my hair after I finished conditioning it.  I really can tell the growth from the earlier months. I am so excited about the health of my hair.  My hair hasn't been in such good shape in years. 

Lately, I've been doing just wash and go's.  However, this time I decided I wanted to switch it up and break out the flat irons.  When I pressed my hair, I was even more impressed with the growth of my hair.  The bottom is brazing my shoulder.  I'm looking forward to comparing my hair next year to this post.  I've had ear length hair for so many years.  Not because I wanted it that way and kept cutting it to maintain that length.  I just wasn't doing the right things so I'm just so happy I am finally making progress.
